早於一九七六年成立，其目的乃促進本地旅遊事業、加強香港與中國大陸及海外同業之間的聯繫，藉以拓展彼此間的業務往來，從中交流經驗、提高事業服務水平。 Established as early as 1976, its purpose is to promote tourism, strengthen the ties between Hong Kong and Mainland China and overseas counterparts, so as to expand business contacts with each other, exchange experience, and improve professional services.
